Sunday Practice Sessions
Weekly practice in small rooms, then a group discussion. New stations every week.
Our free weekly session, with up-to-date CASC stations played live and discussed together.
The idea is simple. You learn the CASC by watching it happen, discussing it together and understanding how to approach each station properly. Every Saturday we prepare four up-to-date scenarios covering a range of important topics, and share them in our WhatsApp groups beforehand.
Four volunteers play the candidates, while our tutors take the role-player and examiner roles. After each station the candidate receives personalised feedback, and then we open the discussion to everyone. We break the station down together: what went well, what could be approached differently, what the examiner is looking for, how to structure your seven minutes, and how to communicate naturally rather than recite a script.
Most people join to watch, listen and learn, and that is just as valuable. Hundreds of doctors from around the world attend, so you see many different approaches and learn from other candidates' strengths and mistakes. Whenever you feel ready, you can volunteer as a candidate. Join one of our WhatsApp groups and follow the instructions we post before each session.
We regularly welcome recently successful candidates as guest speakers. They demonstrate stations and share the approach that worked for them.
We believe in sharing what we know openly. The session is completely free, and you don't need to volunteer, be at a certain level or feel ready for the exam to join us.
Leave your details and we'll email you the link to join. It's also shared in our WhatsApp groups before each session.
We'll email you the Zoom link before Saturday's session.
